  A Tango's Turn

  First came word
  Next came shape and color
  And conversation began
  in an artful way.

  Summer wildflowers with colors

It is dark and cold and silent.

Yellow Birds

Where do dyslexic children go when
they tire of being slow?
They learn to sleep while sitting up
and dream of yellow birds
flying upside down
for a better view.

This, then, is the process of WordLayers. It begins in chaos,

continues towards balance and completes itself in a vertical read of color as each day touches the one before and the one after.

WordLayers has become the stitching that holds the days of joy and those of sorrow together—in a focused view of the journey of my soul.

“Oh, for goodness sake!”
